Gillespies undertake first session with students from the Open City's Accelerate programme

On Monday 14^th February, Gillespies undertook its first mentoring session as part of Accelerate, a design, education and mentoring programme aimed at increasing diversity in the built environment profession. The programme was established by Open City, in partnership with The Bartlett, UCL.

The students have been tasked with the delivery of a contemporary kiosk within an example local park. Our team from Gillespies are guiding the students through the process, undertaking site analysis and step-by-step design guidance on how to deliver the kiosk. The students will be supported through further sessions to develop their proposals, before preparing design boards for the final submission in April.
