Gillespies hires two new Associates

We are overjoyed to welcome two new associates to our London studio, to help further our mission of creating extraordinary external spaces that unlock a more sustainable urban ecology and make people’s lives measurably better.

Rachel (Rui) He has joined the London studio’s landscape team. She brings over 17 years of experience in delivering landscape masterplans, design codes, guidelines, frameworks and detailed public realm design across a range of sectors, working in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.

Prior to joining Gillespies, Rachel worked for several high-profile landscape architecture practices in Beijing, Shanghai and the UK.

Will Nicholson joins Gillespies’ Oxford studio as an Associate Landscape Architect, where he will bring his extensive leadership experience and knowledge of working both consultant and client-side within the Middle East. His appointment will help strengthen the firm's offer in the Middle East. William has a particular expertise in delivering significant leisure, hospitality and mixed-use projects.

Jim Diggle, Managing Partner at Gillespies, said, “Developing talent within our team remains fundamental to our success. These latest appointments show our ongoing commitment to investing in talented individuals with the expertise and knowledge to support us in pushing forward our mission, which is to deliver healthy and well-designed landscapes and city masterplans that reconnect us with nature and each other.
