Gillespies appointed to deliver a compelling landscape design that will transform Prince of Wales Drive

Gillespies has been appointed by St William, the latest division of Berkeley Group, to deliver a unique and compelling landscape design that will help transform the former gasworks in Prince of Wales Drive into an exemplary new residential development, just moments from Battersea Park and the River Thames.

Designed by architects Squire and Partners, Prince of Wales Drive consists of a series of contemporary apartments blocks centered around beautifully landscaped gardens.

Inspired by the proximity of Battersea Park, Gillespies' designs for the gardens sought to bring together the buildings and park through a finely detailed tapestry of seasonal flowers, trees and planting that permeate and flow effortlessly through the development. The gardens will provide a collection of diverse spaces, including a central courtyard with a serene water feature where residents can convene, sit and relax.
