Exam success for two members of staff

We are delighted to announce that Katie Maude (pictured far left), who is based in our Hale studio has successfully completed the Landscape Institute’s pathway to Chartership and is now a Chartered Landscape Architects (CMLI). Katie joined Gillespies in 2017 and has gained professional experience on a diverse portfolio of projects, including RHS Bridgewater and Stonedale Crescent Regeneration.

This prestigious qualification is awarded by the Landscape Institute, the UK's professional body for landscape architects and landscape professionals, and is a recognition of quality and excellence for the landscape profession. Achieving Chartered status is a significant personal and career achievement, so well done Katie for all your hard work and dedication!

We support staff through the P2C process by covering application and membership costs, in addition to providing mentoring and support from existing Chartered Landscape Architects.

We are also thrilled to announce that Jordan Baldock (pictured), a Graduate Urban Designer in our Hale office, has passed his MSc in Urban Design and International Planning with Distinction. Jordan joined the practice this earlier this year and has recently been instrumental in the development of St Cuthbert’s Garden Village in Carlisle. The team are working closely with Wayne Hemingway of HemingwayDesign to deliver a masterplan for the delivery of a 10,000-home garden village for Carlisle Council.
