Elephant Park named one of London's best free parks to visit this summer

The recently completed Elephant Park has been named one of London's best parks and outdoor spaces to visit this summer by Stylist Magazine. The park has also featured in TimeOut as a key destination to visit.

Elephant Park is a spectacular green oasis at the heart of the ground-breaking revitalisation of Elephant & Castle by Lendlease and Southwark Council. Covering 2-acres, Elephant Park is an inclusive and sustainable community space featuring expansive lawns, colourful rain gardens, a unique interactive waterpark, and pedestrian walkways nestled within the naturalistic planting that encourage visitors to immerse themselves, slow down and relax in verdant nature within the city centre. The park offers everyone living, visiting or working in the area unique and unforgettable social and recreational experiences.

The park opened to the public on 7th June 2021.
