Consultation launched for Paddington Central Amphitheatre
Public consultation has begun for plans to improve the Paddington Central Amphitheatre, a public space that sits at the heart of Sheldon Square, which forms a key piece of the 11-acre Paddington Central masterplan by developer British Land.
Gillespies is delivering the landscape design for this new square, working closely with British Land and architects Feix&Merlin. The landscape focused proposals have an emphasis on ecology; a more dynamic layout; increased seating capacity, improved accessibility, and enhancements to the existing retail facade, creating a thriving community space and new centrepiece for the campus.
