£20m Blackpool Conference Centre given green light

Last night, Blackpool Planning Committee unanimously granted listed building consent and planning permission for the Bisset Adams-designed Blackpool Conference Centre, a new conference and exhibition centre capable of hosting more than 7,000 delegates at any one time.

The contemporary centre will link directly into the existing buildings which make up the Victorian Grade II listed Winter Gardens.
