14 Westfield Avenue named a finalist in the AJ Architecture Awards

We are thrilled that 14 Westfield Avenue has been named a finalist in this year’s AJ Architecture Awards. The project will compete for the top prize in the Workplace (10,000sqm and over) category.

14 Westfield Avenue is a distinctive and unique workplace in Stratford, which has become the new home of HM Revenue & Customs. The building is crowned with a screened landscaped roof garden that will offer places for staff to sit, work and socialise. The garden will also help boost local biodiversity and support decarbonisation efforts through a mosaic of robust, drought-tolerant planting that will mature over time and increase the ecology credentials of the site.

The AJ Architecture Awards recognise excellence in UK architecture across a range of categories, from community schemes and cultural projects to masterplans and workplace designs. These are highly coveted awards and are unique to the market, with each shortlisted project visited by a judging panel and published in the Architects' Journal.

This year's awards ceremony will be held in London on 17 November 2021 at JW Marriott, Grosvenor House.
