Rob Copeland

Rob Copeland is highly skilled landscape architect with over 30 years’ experience in designing and leading a number of large and exciting public realm, mixed-use, sport, infrastructure and urban regeneration projects in his home country of Australia, South East Asia and more recently in the UK and the Middle East. Rob held Design Director positions at Gillespies’ Australian office and also EDAW and AECOM before relocating to the UK in 2013 and joining Gillespies’ London studio.

Since moving to the UK Rob has led a number of major public realm and master planning projects, including the Al Rayyan Stadium and precinct in Doha for 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and a range of mixed-use developments in London.

Rob has demonstrated success in a range of project types and scales, including public realm, parkland and open space development and masterplanning of new communities, working with large multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver complex projects with challenging briefs and timescales.
