Ranjit Matharu


Ranjit Matharu joined Gillespies in 2010 as a Landscape Architect and was promoted to Associate in 2018, after demonstrating great design leadership and project management.

Ranjit is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 8 years’ experience in the delivery of public realm and landscape design projects within the UK and internationally. Working within the private and public sector, she has successfully delivered a number of high-profile projects across a range of sectors including residential, retail, commercial and infrastructure. In particular, Ranjit has undertaken landscape design and mitigation proposals for a series of high profile Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.

Most recently, Ranjit has been instrumental in the redevelopment of Woking Town Centre, a large mixed-use public realm scheme, where she has been responsible for delivering the external works package, from initial ideas through to works on site.

Prior to joining Gillespies, Ranjit worked in the Corporate Social Responsibility and Arts Management and Education sector for nine years, where she gained valuable expertise in both project and account management.
