Natalia Uribe is a highly experienced urban designer with over 17 years’ professional experience. She has a particular specialism in leading new developments and large-scale masterplans, from small urban design interventions to districts and city planning strategies, including substantial experience in urban regeneration, public space, mixed-use schemes, and retail led projects linked to multimodal transport.
Prior to joining Gillespies in 2018, Natalia worked at a senior level at Benoy Architects, a leading international architectural practice. During this time, she led a number of high-profile projects in the UK, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Latin-America, including a masterplan for Dubai Creek Harbour, a new world-class waterfront development in Dubai and a significant masterplan for a new residential-led development in Cairo, Egypt.
Natalia has a strong expertise in working with global interdisciplinary teams and a great passion for innovation, consistently striving for sustainable solutions that are inspiring and commercially successful for both private and public sector clients. Furthermore, she has a great interest in contributing to the sustainable development of the built environment and valuing the social impact of every intervention.
