Jonathan is a passionate, innovative and experienced Landscape Architect with a wide range of industry experience. Jonathan benefits from a multi-disciplinary background in Architectural Technology and Sustainable Architecture, graduating with degrees from both Carlow and Wexford I.T, and subsequently went onto complete his Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture in 2012 from Sheffield University.
Jonathan has gained a wealth of experience within large multidisciplinary practices, where he has project managed high-profile projects within the hospitality, education, healthcare and residential sectors, both nationally and internationally. He has a particular specialism in zoological, leisure and visitor attraction-based landscapes; engaging in projects ranging from large-scale adventure parks and zoo masterplanning to detailed immersive exhibit design.
Since joining Gillespies in 2017, Jonathan has proved to be a valuable asset, leading on a number complex and large-scale projects. Most recently, he has been instrumental in the design of a landscape masterplan the Yorkshire Wildlife Park expansion in Doncaster.
