Jim Diggle

Jim Diggle has over 30 years’ experience in masterplanning and landscape architecture. His work is delivered in both the United Kingdom and international markets and extends across all major recognised sectors including retail, residential, leisure and sport, offices, research, education, health and mixed/multi-use developments.
An appetite for international working led Jim to South East Asia in the nineties where he set up Gillespies’ office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He managed this for 10 years building the firm’s reputation in Asia and the Pacific Rim. Since returning to the UK, his experience expanded to cover western European countries and also further east, including Russia, the Middle East, North and West Africa and Canada.
Jim is particularly adept at high-level client liaison and managing complex, multi-disciplinary design teams. He has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s international portfolio, overseeing a number of pioneering nature-led masterplanning and landscape design projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
