Emilie Leclercq is a qualified urban designer and urban planner with more than 15 years’ experience in urban design, masterplanning and strategic planning. She is passionate about creating high-quality sustainable places which bring vitality and economic benefit to local urban areas. She recently joined Gillespies as an Associate and is currently working on the masterplan of a large extension of Moscow.
Before joining Gillespies, Emilie worked for 10 years as an urban designer at Barton Willmore, a leading town planning and urban design company in London. She gained most of her expertise leading or making significant contributions to numerous masterplanning and urban design projects across the UK, France and Saudi Arabia.
Emilie’s breadth of experience ranges from producing masterplans, development frameworks, design guidelines and concept drawings. She’s been working on a large range of scales, from citywide strategic sites to neighbourhoods and small public spaces. She also undertook several research projects on sustainability, governance strategies and regeneration.
