Alison Baxter

Alison is a Principal Landscape Architect with a keen interest in the relationship between the built environment and street democracy - an interest she has been able to apply to commercial, residential and retail projects while at Gillespies.

During the last 8 years with the practice, Alison has developed valuable experience on a wide range of landscape projects in the UK and Russia. Her breadth of experience ranges from managing teams and coordinating design development and construction packages for large scale mixed-use developments and infrastructure projects to smaller-scale, detailed retail and residential schemes. Notable projects include a richly detailed, green courtyard landscape for “Polyanka/44”, a luxury residential scheme in Moscow for client PSN Group, detailed public realm proposals for a series of public spaces next to and actually on the river Thames as part of the Thames Tideway Project in London, and transformative landscape proposals for South Hill, a highly sustainable residential scheme in St Helier, Jersey.
