Alison Baxter
Principal
Alison has a keen interest in social and environmental landscape resilience, an interest she has applied to a range of important commercial, residential, and retail projects. She has helped lead on a diverse selection of national and international projects, covering all RIBA work stages. Her work areas include strategic planning, major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and environmental enhancement schemes, as well as mixed use residential and play design.
Alison has realised numerous schemes within the UK, Europe, Jersey, Uzbekistan, and Moscow, including a project which also won 'Best realized project of complex residential landscape design' at the 10th Russian National Landscape Architecture Awards in November 2019. Her experience includes earthquake recovery strategy design with lightweight structures, and the protection of conserving indigenous and sacred places in New Zealand.
Her key areas of interest are bio-secure planting design and inclusive play. She has considerable experience working with play designers, through concept design for inclusive play in the UK, Uzbekistan and Russia.
