Gillespies has developed a vibrant, ecologically sensitive landscape scheme for a new sustainable residential and retail development in Hong Kong New Territories. The landscape design provides an adaptable public space that responds to the changing needs of its users.
This exciting new high-rise residential development and retail precinct project has the capacity to set precedent for future eco-lifestyle developments within Hong Kong and the wider region
Influenced by the positions of the residential buildings, the landscape design creates two main spaces — a public plaza focused on creating a retail experience and a high-quality 'clubhouse' space that provides residents with a beautiful garden and pool environment.
The landscape design incorporates a network of linear water channels that articulate the landscape spaces and provide a visible and effective method of water collection, filtration and reuse.
