Liverpool Masterplan

With partners, Gillespies competed at an international level to win this important commission. Liverpool will be the European City of Culture in 2008 and the realisation of a vastly improved public realm is a key element in Liverpool City Council's vision for renaissance of this great city.

Following on from the outputs of the Strategic Regeneration Framework, a strategy, specification and programme budgets were developed for the core area of Liverpool City Centre. Embracing the retail, commercial, living and cultural parts of the centre, this implementation framework sets out a methodology for the creation of quality streetscapes and civic spaces.
