Reed Square Masterplan, Birmingham

Reed Square sits at the heart of a major housing renewal area in Birmingham.  The Castle Vale Housing Action Trust commissioned Gillespies to prepare a masterplan for the heart of the extensive Castle Vale redevelopment.

The exciting masterplan, generated together with Associated Architects, provides a new heart for the community and includes proposals for an urban square, new retail provision, a library, police station, community college and residential development. A comprehensively designed public realm provides a variety of high quality spatial experiences within a strong urban town.
