Glasgow Harbour Waterfront Regeneration

Glasgow Harbour is more than just a development - the size and scale of the project means an entirely new district is being created within the West End of Glasgow. It is one of the largest waterfront regeneration projects within the UK.

The area will be urban and contemporary - a vibrant environment - and with around forty percent of the site given over to public space, it will host a series of new urban squares and green spaces.

Gillespies has been commissioned to develop and implement the masterplan and Landscape scheme for areas including the Linear Park and Riverside Walkway, as the first phase of the schemes creation.  The firm is also developing improvements to new public transport and interchange link connections, cycling routes, quayside activities, safe routes to schools and other leisure activities.
