The Gleneagles Hotel is world famous. The Five Red Star golf resort is set in eight hundred and fifty acres of stunning scenery in Perthshire and Capability Brown, the celebrated 18th century landscape gardener, inspired the landscaping.

Located a short distance from the hotel are forty seasonal vacation cottages which require a suitably high quality landscape design. Gillespies' landscape proposals were developed to maximise the benefits of the surrounding woodland and heath framework by selecting species that would extend the character and habitat around and through the new gardens.
