Garnetts Mill, Otley

A twenty two acre site in the market town of Otley, near Bradford, is currently being re-designed into an exciting new area. The location is currently home to Garnett's, a working paper mill which will change the nature of its business from paper making to paper converting.

Following the company's decision to diversify its operations, the mill and the surrounding areas are to be transformed into a development that represents a unique opportunity for the town to make a feature of its waterside and attract more people through high quality commercial and residential developments. 

As masterplanner Gillespies has designed the space to accommodate new housing, restaurants and pubs in conjunction with a series of public squares and plazas and continuous cycle ways and pedestrian routes to provide access to the riverside.
