Microsoft Headquarters, Reading

The landscape design for Microsoft's Headquarters in Thames Valley Park, Reading, revolves around a new central lake feature.

The three separate buildings surround the open space with the lake at its centre. Each of the three buildings sits within it‘s own courtyard environment, with generous spill-out spaces. The lake includes weirs and fountains, developed in the lower area of the site where staff can enjoy it most and make use of nearby sweeping lawns at lunch times on warm sunny days.
