RAF Bicester, Oxfordshire

Located on a former airfield, the site has been identified as being of historical importance for airfield development between the first and second world wars.

The site has a significant number of listed buildings which needed a framework to consider a new mix of leisure, employment and residential uses. Innovative design ideas were considered to connect a series of large hangars and ancillary buildings to new development, whilst retaining the integrity of the historic uses of the site with future market demands.
