East Witney Town Expansion

Witney was identified by Oxford County Council as one of the County Towns capable of accommodating housing growth up to 2011.

The client required a detailed strategy to guide this growth and so a masterplan concept was prepared, visual impacts assessed and consultation materials produced for a public exhibition. Gillespies' coherent strategy for growth brought together a series of development areas and was robust enough to stand a local plan process and a public exhibition.
