A75 The Glen Improvements, Dumfries

To increase access for tourists and businesses to foster economic growth, the Scottish Executive committed a large amount of funding to this road improvement project.

Gillespies assisted in the preparation of a detailed Environmental Assessment and Statement for six kilometres of dual carriageway on the western outskirts of Dumfries.  Specimen landscape design plans were prepared as well as tender documentation for the design and build contract.  The work is now continuing with Gillespies as landscape advisors for the duration of the project.
