Shetland Islands Landscape Assessment

In Shetland Gillespies was required to establish a database of environmental information; identify opportunities for further enhancement of the landscape; and provide a framework for future planning policy and development control for the Islands Council.

The objectives were met through landscape classification work, which reviewed the natural landscape, cultural landscape and field survey work.
