Tom Walker, Associate Partner

Following an exceptional academic training, Tom started his career with Gillespies in 1989 and now has significant experience as a landscape and urban designer in both private and public spheres.

He has worked at all ends of the professional spectrum from visioning for urban revitalisation and preparation of planning policy through to detailed design and contract administration of parks and streetscape. Tom has an acute awareness of local planning policy and is also an experienced and accomplished expert witness having appeared in over fifteen Planning Inquiries covering landscape, trees, and visual effects. He has a strong belief in and particular skills in collaborative working with fellow professionals, stakeholders and the wider community, to ensure proposals are as holistic and sustainable as possible.
