As a landscape architect who has worked and travelled extensively, Simon's designs are inspired by many facets of the culture and architecture he has experienced.
Simon has worked in Auckland, Sydney and latterly in Singapore for a period of three years before joining Gillespies from another international practice. In New Zealand, he worked on residential projects and commercial landscape developments and following his move to Australia specialised in landscape design work which ranged from urban design renewal to broad scale parkland planning and implementation. In south-east Asia, Simon managed urban design planning projects in a multi-disciplinary environment including in particular a number of hotel and resort design projects.
