Oliver Smith, Associate

Oliver trained at the Edinburgh College of Art and also studied for a time at Rhode Island School of Design and Purdue University (Indiana).

Following this he spent a year working in Boston and then joined Gillespies in 2002, where he has since been heavily involved in the design of projects such as the regeneration of Plymouth's Royal William Yard, and Twickenham Stadium.

Oliver has significant experience in designing landscapes for universities and in particular this has involved the creation of a series of public spaces for Malaysia's Petronas University, the University of Central England and Stafford College.
