After the establishment of the LLP in April 2002, an Executive Committee reporting to the full partnership was created to oversee, improve and monitor the firm's business methods and practices. Under the leadership of Paul Taylor our Managing Partner, the chairmanship of Peter Evans (our non-executive chair) and the careful scrutiny of David Black our Finance Director, the Executive Committee meets monthly for an in-depth review of the business to consider, review and disseminate aspects of good practice throughout the partnership and senior staff.
In today's professional environment there are many statutory responsibilities for designers. As leading practitioners and professional employers, Gillespies has built up a range of practice policies which cover all the important aspects of professional and business life. Networks exist in each of the offices to oversee the continued implementation of the policies which include: Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Equal Opportunities, Environmental, Sustainability and IT.
