Gillespies among seven teams shortlisted for the new Ross Pavilion in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Ross Development Trust, in collaboration with the City of Edinburgh Council and Malcolm Reading Consultants, has announced the seven finalists teams – picked from 125 entries - that will compete for the design of the new Ross Pavilion in the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Gillespies is part of a team led by architects Flanagan Lawrence and is joined by Expedition Engineering, JLL, Arup and Alan Baxter Associates.

The other shortlisted teams include: BIG, Adjaye Associates, Page / Park, Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, wHY, and William Matthews Associates with Sou Fujimoto Architects

“Finalists have until June 9 to complete concept designs for the pavilion, visitor’s center and site, which will need to fully integrate into the existing Gardens, which are of outstanding cultural significance. A winner is expected to be announced in early August.”
