Gillespies in Scotland is currently seeking an experienced and creative urban designer / masterplanner.
The role will be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh and candidates will need to possess a particular aptitude for strategic, conceptual and problem solving design at all scales from the regional dimension, to masterplanning sites. This thinking and design ability should be demonstrated in a portfolio of work, graphics, reports and verbal presentation at interview.
Knowledge of the planning system and design policy is essential. Applicants are also expected to have knowledge and experience of masterplanning for urban regeneration and green field sites in respect of layout, form, density mix of uses, movement systems and sustainability.
