It always seems to surprise people at interview how varied Gillespies‘ work load is. As an independent design practice I guess the work we do is perhaps more diverse and interesting than most people would realize. The urban design projects are especially varied, which is one of the reasons I joined the Gillespies in the first place.

As a recently promoted associate, I now have new challenges in my job including managing a team of designers and having more responsibility for project budgeting as well as helping to promote the practice to potential clients. I enjoy the fast pace of my working life - there‘s definitely no shortage of things to do!
