Sheena Bell

Associate Partner

Sheena is a landscape architect with over 20 years' experience of landscape design and masterplanning in a broad range of sectors. She is passionate about embedding sustainable design principles within her work and has led and contributed extensively to many green infrastructure and landscape-led urbanism projects both in the private and the public sector.

She brings a detailed understanding of public realm design and delivery from her previous work managing Gillespies' teams on large mixed-use and infrastructure developments, including new and refurbished public spaces in Woking town centre, a new town square and creative quarter in Croydon, and new waterside public spaces in central London as part of the Thames Tideway project.

Sheena is currently leading the landscape infrastructure design for a sustainable new community in North West Cambridge. The community features extensive parklands, an integrated SUD system, and a cycle network.

Sheena is a skilled designer, project manager and communicator with expertise in public consultation, strategy development and guidance, landscape design and implementation. She is also an Expert on the Government’s High Streets Task Force, an alliance of place-making experts providing guidance to local leaders to redefine their local high streets and town centres.
