Centro Midland Metro, Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Extension, Birmingham

Birmingham is one of five UK Cities that currently has a fully operational metro system.

Centro Midland Metro proposed to extend the currently successful system and has generated proposals for another new line extension. This will link the suburban centres of Wednesbury and Brierley Hill.

Gillespies task has been the appraisal of the visual and public realm issues, and the production of design proposals to ensure a harmonious and sensitive fit with existing suburban corridors through which the lines pass.
